This Week’s Highlights:
Vv week was very, very interesting with much learning and vivacious fun!
We also counted to number 13-a lot!
Crafts included putting various vehicle stickers on letter Vv, cutting vegetables (child’s choice), and we stamped beautiful flowers in a V vase.
We also explored a Vv basket and number 13 counting jar; signed V with fingers, arms, and legs; followed a number path to 13; explored/compared a variety of vegetables; and practiced various computer skills.
We read about Vegetable Soup, played a variety of games, counted flowers in a vase, read our VIP story, reviewed vocabulary words, erupted a volcano, voted for a snack, and watched a short video.
Our snacks this week included many veggies and Veggie Straws. Our AM class visited music on Thursday and our PM class visited the art room on Tuesday.
Odds and Ends:
Our OTES life skill for the week was perseverance- to continue in spite of difficulties.
Remember- as the weather warms (yay!), we will try to go on the playground daily. Dress appropriately please.
Thank you to one of our families for visiting our school wish tree and then sending in AA batteries- so needed!
Thank you to another family for sending in Veggie Straws and Vitamin C lollipops for a very special Vv snack.
Thank you to yet another family for sending in popcorn!
Sharing folders will not be sent home during spring break.
