This Week’s Highlights:

What a super week in preschool!  Even the weather participated fully by providing some “spring like”, seasonal sunny weather and some soaking rainy weather too!

Crafts included sticking star stickers on Ss, planting sunflower seeds in soil, participating in a scissors center, and sponge painting sensational spring flowers to hang in our hall.

We also explored an Ss basket and number 10 counting jar; sang songs (as always); and played Secret in my Sock, Simon Says, and the Statue Game.

We looked at/compared an assortment of seeds, wished upon a star, drank from straws, and acted quite silly with stickers on our noses.

And, we decorated smiley cookies, danced with streamers, wore silly socks, smelled scents, and snacked on some special treats including sandwich cookies and ice cream sandwiches (Little Sammies).  Unfortunately due to ISTEP testing and the Artist in Residence program in the upper grade levels, our specials classes were cancelled this week.

The AM class welcomed new student during Ss week- how appropriate! He is a wonderful new friend and we love having him with us every day.  Thank you to his family for sending in cookies to celebrate his birthday.
