Welcome Back! 2017-2018!

We’ve had a great first full week of school.   Students have been taught procedures to help them succeed in school and they have tools such as their assignment notebooks and accordion files to help them stay organized.  Students need to bring home both of these items each night to be able to complete homework assignments.  Student have also been instructed to always look at the supply list outside of each classroom to get what they need for class.  We will give a lot of grace the first two weeks, but starting Monday, August 21st, we will begin holding the students accountable for not being prepared.  Please encourage your child to work on this skill and understand that it should get better as they build a routine.

Please mark your calendar for this Wednesday, August 16th from 5:30-6:15 to come and meet us and learn more about our classroom policies and procedures.  We want to work with you to help your child have an incredible 5th grade experience!

We are Mrs. Phillips, Mr. Haywood, and Mrs. Tice and we are so glad to have you in our triad!  Please explore the “All About Your Teachers” page to learn about us.  We are looking forward to a great school year with you!
